Where our goods come from, and who is producing them, plays a huge part in the cost for those goods and services we enjoy. So this week with that in mind, let’s discuss outsourcing. Here in the US there seems to be a constant push to “buy American”. But factors often preclude our ability, or desire, to do so. What part does “outsourcing” play in the goods and services you buy? What is outsourcing? Is it good or bad for the American economy? And how often do you focus strictly on “buying American”? What stops you from doing so?
