Formal Essay

The first formal essay is a personal narrative of one to two-typed pages in which the writer is the narrator and relates a personal experience.   The story should have a title and thesis underlined and written in the first person.  A limited number of characters should be introduced and the events should be discussed in chronological order.  Lines of dialogue should be in the text and punctuated correctly.  A dynamic conclusion should end the writer’s story.  JM
