In this cut throat competitive world of business the concept of outsourcing has come to stay. In this digitalized era, it is seen as a solution to run the business without much ado about nothing. Outsourcing can be defined as the practice of partially handing over the functionalities to an efficient, reliable and well qualified agent or agency connecting and completing the dots between the client and the end user for the sole purpose of cost effectiveness (Zhu et al., 2017).

Inotech Corp being a provider of diversified products and services will be better off in not outsourcing the janitorial services to a local company with similar background of training and culture. There is nothing new to learn except increase in the number of workforces. If outsourcing is done to a company an entirely different one without any local tag the advantages will be many folds the main being their different approach. It will be like breathing in fresh air; a gentle breeze capable of energizing and motivating through their new technologies. It may well turn out to be both a learning point and turning point to run the business without glitches and also in a seamless smooth manner. Another noticeable thing is the surety with which the deadlines can be met much to the satisfaction of everyone concerned.

The current stance of not outsourcing the janitorial services locally comes under the Utilitarian framework which aims at maximizing the goodness to the greatest possible level touching innumerable lives. Outsourcing has the far and foresight of consequences of actions taken rather than the reaction to the prevailing situation gasping for help. On-shoring is constraining in its effect whereas outsourcing negotiates it. If the deadlines are not met with sincerity the consequence will be loss of customer faith which may take the business in a downhill path. Given a choice and chance the benefits of not outsourcing locally outweighs the on-shoring effect. This is also consistent with the ethical beliefs and right for the societal benefits. With this alternative action the value of the system is enhanced. This results in positive outcome with positive outlook (Bonnemains et al., 2018).

This stance of outsourcing and its application will have the following benefits;

  • Creating a new base of cost level
  • Getting things at a competitive price sometimes with free customer support
  • Reaping the benefits of technology and resources aplenty strewn among the talents
  • Respecting the deadline
  • Minimal supervision with less liability and
  • Maintain the factor of Trustworthiness

Apart from these benefits we can also have the mental satisfaction of following the first biblical principle of honest weight which revolves around good quality as per the payment (Winston, 2018).

The fiduciary duties as expected here are the quality of the products and meeting the deadline both of which can be achieved by the cost effective and time effective outsourcing which are new to the existing practice and hence can be considered as value addition. Thus, all the obligatory factors like regulatory, contractual and legal aspects can be taken care of. This leaves only the confidentiality factor of the proprietary information which can be done by carefully masking them and having the control point before the release of any product or service rendered (Winston, 2018). Social responsibility can be fulfilled with charitable actions by keeping some of the profit money just for that purpose.
