For this assignment, students will select two theories covered in Chapter 2 of the textbook. Use specific theories, NOT broad theory categories (For ex: Nature vs Nurture and Cooperative Competitive are broad bodies of theories). Then review published research to understand more about the two theories. Write a paper that compares the theories assumptions, the type of research questions/hypothesis that arise from each perspective and your opinion on the application of the theories in real life.
All papers must be typed, double-spaced, on one side of the page, using Times New Roman 12-point font, with 1 margins all around. Research papers must be written in accordance with APA or MLA Style Guides, especially as it concerns citations and reference list. All work will be graded on grammar and style. The paper should be 4 to 6 pages, not including reference page. A MINIMUM of 6 references should be used.
