1) MacKinnon, from last week, states that heterosexual sex is akin to rape due to the gender roles that men and women are brought up in. The podcast problematizes MacKinnon’s stance. At one point in the podcast, the two women on the show have a raw conversation around feeling violated and being violated. What was your take on their conversation? 

2) How do men who want to have sex with women fit in to a new understanding of their gender roles and sex? Use the Orenstein reading (Step 3) to highlight important issues relating to men’s gender roles and sex. And what are some ways to move forward put forth in both the reading and the podcast?
