You are a student, writing to Amy Chua to criticize and/or agree with the key points she makes in the opening of her book.
You must engage with ideas from the original text to argue in support of/against the approach to parenting presented in the text. Doing the following will help with this:
You must quote specific things that Amy Chua says (explicit opinions and ideas), stating what they mean and why you agree/disagree.
You must comment on the language/tone that Amy Chua uses (implicit opinions and ideas) as a way of agreeing with/criticising what she says.
