Sociology Matters
Sociology matters because it raises your awareness of cultural patterns you would otherwise take for granted.
1. What culture and/or subcultures do you belong to? Have you ever questioned your cultures norms and values?
2. How does your culture relate to cultures in other societies? Do you feel comfortable in mainstream society?
Sociology matters, too, because it shows you how you became who you are.
