Discuss the ways in which Double Indemnity and The Postman Always Rings Twice exemplify film noir, in terms of both style and content. In doing so, you will need to provide explanations of what you see as the most important characteristics of film noir. (Frank and Schrader will be useful here.) Include analysis of at least one scene from each of the two films to illustrate the characteristics, and incorporate at least three readings in your work.
