After reading the two articles related to balanced scorecard and strategy maps, discuss as a
team how a strategy map & balanced scorecard would look like for each of the organizations
you work for. Then, choose one of the organizations (the one in your view best suited to this
exercise) and prepare a strategy map and balanced scorecard diagram (see readings for
examples of maps and scorecards), with a 2-page max explanation of the work: i.e. why you
chose certain strategic objectives in each perspective, why you chose certain metrics, how the
various perspectives are linked each other in a causal sense, etc. Make the map and the
scorecard as specific as possible.
