Each student will prepare a short analysis of the following accidents (due dates indicated below).
Each analysis should be a minimum of 1500 words, and roughly the first half of the paper should
address the timeline and causal factors in the accident, and the role of any airline and airport
managers, flight dispatchers, air traffic controllers, pilots, aircraft manufacturers, mechanics, weather
forecasts, weather conditions, etc., in the accident. The second half of the paper should highlight the
various lessons learned and what measures (procedural, technological, etc.) should be adopted,
particularly with regard to SMS, to prevent a similar accident from occurring in the future. NTSB
documents for each accident may be found in the course Content area. At least three appropriately
utilized and cited sources (APA 7th edition) should be used in each essay
