Reflections about STEM in EC

Paragraph 1: Discuss STEM as you understand it. Define the terms and discuss the importance of considering building a foundation for future STEM content areas in the early childhood classroom from the teacher’s perspective.

Paragraph 2: Discuss your views on STEM education and provide examples. What do you find important about how foundational skills in STEM content areas impact future student success? In essence, why are early childhood teachers concerned about STEM content within their classroom?
