Instructions
You are a reporter for the New York Times, and you have been assigned to a new developing story regarding a burglary at the Watergate office complex. On the early morning of June 17, 1972, five men were arrested in connection to an early morning break in into the offices of the Democratic National Committee. You have been tasked with writing up a news article that gives the American people the information they deserve to know: what happened in Watergate? Why were these five men trying to break into the Democratic National Committee offices?
Directions:
1-Write a news article that explains the Watergate scandal.
2 -This news article should be written in at least 250-400 words. The article should contain at least 2 quotes from the members involved in the scandal (quotes from President Nixon, James McCord the security coordinator, etc.).
3-This news article should also contain some pictures of the central characters involved in the Watergate scandal as well. Remember to include all the necessary parts of a news article: A title or Headline, your name as the author, the text minimum of 250 400 words, and the quoted information along with the pictures of main characters involved in the news story.
4- write their news article on a Microsoft Word
