PowerPoint Presentation
Students will develop a PowerPoint presentation on a developmental disability assigned to them. Students
will briefly summarize and describe the etiology,epidemiology,course, diagnostic and assessment
procedures, interventions,challenges, strengths,community support programs, societal views,cultural
issues. The student will post the presentation in a discussion post. The students should be able to provide a
thorough presentation of literature findings in regards to the developmental disability they were assigned.
The student should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the subject matter and apply the
course readings and materials learned throughout. Students will then choose 2 peer presentations and
provide questions and feedback on their peer’s presentations. Students must answer questions asked by
other students.
