The instructions for the Technology Budget and Plan as listed in the EDU 687 syllabus are:
Using a projected amount of $25, 000 per year, design a 5 Year Technology Budget for your current school of assignment. List the technology acquisitions (brands and costs) that will be procured for the school. The plan must include vision and mission statements, goals and objectives, and policies for use of technology. The plan should also include opportunities for involvement for members of a Technology Committee.
Beginning with FY 21 (July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022), list the proposed expenses (up to $25, 000) per year that you think are needed to improve technology integration at your school. Use the existing technology hardware and software listed on the Technology Inventory for your school, the Goal(s) and Objectives of your plan, and what you have learned about emerging technologies as the basis for your decisions. Be visionary and innovative as you create this plan! Think about how schools will be changed by FY 25!
Your Technology Budget and Plan should include a cover page and page numbers, and should conform to APA (current edition) for formatting.
