Sex Differences In Communication
It is important to listen carefully to the issue being addressed. As you saw in this week’s movie moment, sometimes our opponent attempts to get our focus off the primary issue being addressed. It is important to remain focused on the issue throughout the entire discussion.
Four styles of communication are discussed on page 81 of your text.
Here is the discussion challenge. Do you think men and women have different communication styles? Are there differences in the nonverbal communication styles of men and women? Think of a particular experience you have had in communicating with the opposite sex and apply the critical thinking analysis as covered on pages 20-21 of your text. Please remain respectful and keep an open mind! Keep your focus on the issue being discussed.
