The Physics of Vision Correction Start Assignment

In Modules 10, 11, and 12 (read ahead), you learn about many fundamental laws of optics and lens laws. Use this knowledge and outside research to explain the physics of vision correction.  Then, you will write a 4 page paper describing the laws and their relevance, as well as at least three applications of physics in vision correction.  Your description of what the law means should be in depth, and you should describe each of the applications in depth as well.

Your paper should include a title page and reference list, but neither of those counts as part of the page requirement.  References should be in APA format, in-text references within the paper and then the full reference given in the list of references at the end.  Please note that sources such as Wikipedia should not be used in this paper;  only scholarly sources should be used.  There should be at least 5 references. You may include pictures/images, but they will not count toward the required number of pages.  The paper should be written in a scientific style (3rd person, formal).  This is not an opinion paper, but a scientific summary and report.  Written communication is an important scientific skill; this paper is an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to think critically and present ideas in a clear and logical fashion.
