technology and nursing

there is a definite need for knowledge workers well versed in data analytics skills.  Data analytic skills include knowledge of how to aggregate data including collect the right data, context, and cleaning of the data as well as the underlying statistical basics of type of data (nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio and categorical/continuous) to best visually display the data and statistical significance. what is the importance of that for a dnp nurse?

relates to data collection. The nursing role is rapidly transforming. The bedside nurse must observe, seek, analyze, and extrapolate information protecting patients in an environment overwhelmed by new technological advances and regulatory requirements. How can you manage change so nurses are not being overwhelmed by this constant change, and ensure the new practice behaviors are sustained?
