Dissertation
Students registered are required to submit an essay/dissertation
between 3000-3500 words. It should comprise a critical evaluation of
approximately 10-12 papers in the students own area of interest that
show a range of research methods and should discuss their
contribution to that area.
Essays should be written and presented as a review paper in a
journal. Choose a review paper from a reputable journal from the
library (e.g. Journal of Applied Psychology) and present your paper in
similar format. This will involve a title, abstract, keywords, separately
titled sections and page numbers.
Please take note that the chosen topic must be relevant and within the
range of applied psychology and or related management areas. Use of
experimental paper is not allowed.
For your references, please adopt the APA format (American
Psychological Association). You may refer to the reference sections in
APA journals e.g., the Journal of Applied Psychology for examples of
how to produce references in APA format
