Hi Everyone,
Welcome to Week Two!
This week we will be discussing the strategies of a company. What is strategy? According to Watkins- “A business strategy is a set of guiding principles that, when communicated and adopted in the organization, generates a desired pattern of decision making”.(2007, para. 2)
Time Management skills is a part of the planning process. How are all of you managing your time? You can plan your daily work, personal life and your career. It is all part of planning. Harvard Business Review has a good article on Time Management- Getting More Work Done in Less Time. See the link.
Another topic this week is on Ethics and Social Responsibility. Ethics begins with management and in their roles as they set the stage that shows the standards of ethical conduct. Have you seen ethics in participatory planning? I look
