Overcoming setback of ADHD with my passion of food on the body mind and spirit.

I need an essay discussing the circumstances for my academic performances of the past and what has happened in the subsequent years to prepare me for academic work.
I would like to share how having ADHD was challenging in my early years of school. Though I was put on high dosages of medication nothing seemed to work to help me focus until I had a realization years later that I do love to learn, but only when there is a strong purpose attached to learning. The first book I ever read, on my own terms, which was rare because reading use to bore me and I couldnt seem to understand what I was reading, but the first book I ever read was a cook book on raw food and all of the success stories of other people who healed themselves simply by eating a different way. I was inspired and wanted to know more. So I would spend most of my time during school paying more attention to the needs of friends, family, and teachers along the way while feeding them with awesome food. I would like this essay to talk about purpose and how finding that purpose is what matters most to succeeding. For me it was baking and cooking healthy and delicious food for others to inspire them to eat better to change their own lives. It has been 9 years since I have graduated school and since then I have been teaching anyone that comes across my path, knowledge and understanding have become my best friend. I never leave the house without a good health book on hand. The past 9 years have been dedicated to mastering myself and overcoming the challenges that come with ADHD.
