A Holistic Response to Crime Victimization

 

This weeks required readings discuss how multifaceted victimization is and the role of a social support system in assisting a victim to work through victimization. There are many techniques that can be used to respond to crime victimization, such as using innovative advancements in technology or grassroots activism and action.

Address the following in your initial post:

  • What three methods do you propose will provide a holistic response to crime victimization? Explain.
  • In your response, critique the criminal justice systems response to victimization and propose a holistic plan for providing victims with restitution.
  • In your opinion, what will it take in order for victims to be made whole again? Explain.

Your initial post must contain approximately 400 words and reference at least two scholarly sources in proper APA format.
