In this course, students will examine the fundamentals involved in information display and understand the
role of information visualization when addressing big data problems. Through case studies and projects,
students will go through the life cycle of the data analytics and solve the problems that they have defined
in other courses by employing current versions of visualization tools, including but not limited to, D3, Splunk
or Zeppelin, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI.
