As you saw from your assigned reading, the author of your text spends a good deal of time analyzing the movie Memento in relation to the short story. I intentionally assigned this chapter after you read the story and viewed the film. Your text argues that Memento is a traditional translation of the story. However, other sources claim that the interpretation is more radical. Which view do you agree with? Why? Be sure to support your claim with original observations of your own.
