It is associated with a large database and anyone can create an account in iNaturalist and sync it with this app. You do not have to do this.
The assignment to turn in will be a summary of what you have found. This should be written as a report in MLA format. You can use images and charts and illustrations as you like. Screen shots edited to look nice, etc. Use a basic lab report format: Introductory paragraph, Materials and Methods (what did you do, how did you do it, Data/Results (tables, charts, bar graph, images, no more than one page), Discussion: what did you learn, what would you do differently, pros and cons of Seek app, etc.
Most plants and animals gets an A. 80 -90 % of that gets a B, etc. List what you have in tables, pie charts, bar graphs, anything that conveys the information.
This is sort of competitive.
You must have a minimum of 30 plants identified to species. You must have a minimum of 10 invertebrates and as many vertebrates as you can. Flip over logs, look under things, tree bark, etc.
