Daniel Levinson theorized that one aspect of the “midlife crisis” was that people realized they had more to look back on than forward to with the realization that years lived most likely outweigh years left to live. Although the term “midlife crisis” is highly debated (and some suggest is may be more of a quarter life crisis we experience when leaving college and starting out with jobs), it is still heavily researched.
This week the discussion board will focus on looking at our life’s accomplishments no matter what age of stage of lifespan development you are in and planning what you want to do next. (You do NOT need to list your age if you do not feel comfortable). Research suggests we often live in the moment and worry about things today but miss the big picture of accomplishments we have all made. Today we focus on the accomplishments.
Citations are NOT needed this week but please respond to two peers with words of support and encouragement.
