Choose ONE term from the list below. Write a 3-4 page essay (APA format) to define the term using the Bible as the primary source of evidence. The essay should include an introduction, three (3) body paragraphs, and a conclusion. A background paragraph is not needed.
You can use additional sources (make sure they are authoritative/credible) to help you understand the term. Make sure to include citations for these sources if you use ideas from them in the discussion sections of your body paragraphs.
A reference for the Bible is NOT necessary (i.e. if the Bible is your only source of evidence, no References page needed).
However, additional sources are needed as evidence for comparison/contrast paragraphs (as well as a References page, in that case). Make sure to use correct citations. This includes the use of Bible Dictionaries or Encyclopedias, such as those found at www.biblegateway.com , or https://bible.org/
You may use any translation of the Bible to prepare this assignment, but it is recommended that you quote from the NRSV (the most common Bible for academic work) or the NIV (the most popular modern translation of the Bible).
You can also try a Google search by entering your “term (below)” + “definition or meaning in the Bible”
For example, search: justice definition or meaning in the Bible
or “justice in the Bible”
or “definition of biblical justice”
or “meaning of biblical justice”
Another option is to try searching with the “method of definition” + “term” + “in the Bible”
For example, search: Examples of Justice in the Bible
or Function of Justice in the Bible

The requirements for this task are attached here, but I have written part of it and the term of choice is Obedience.
Biblical Obedience Explains Believe
HOOK needed here. In the book of Genesis, the author Moses writes that God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son, but on the day of sacrifice, God did not let him do that, and God sent him a beautiful blessing. The story says, “and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me” (Genesis 22:18 NIV). TOPIC sentence needed here. Obedience in the Bible is an action that God’s idea is to want Christians to believe him through the following methods: comparison, connotation, cause.
In contrast, biblical obedience, and secular social obedience both express a trust in authority. More specifically, if you have faith in God and believe that Christianity is the truth, obedience is living by faith and obeying what the Bible teaches. In the book of 1John, as author writes “In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,” (1John 5:3 NIV). This shows that obeying God’s commands is an expression of love, and to love God is naturally to trust God. Just as children obey their parents to express their trust, Christians also obey God to express their trust in God. In addition, obeying God is not only trust in God, but also a test. In comparison, in secular society, the Merriam-Webster dictionary has described “the act or instance of obeying; the quality or state of being obedient.” (Obedience, n. d.). With this mind, Obedience is not only an act of executing orders in secular society, but also a quality of believing in authority. In addition, Christian obedience means the act of obedience to the command of God, who is the supreme authority, creator, and father of mankind. Therefore, the comparison of obedience is important because Christians make God feel that Christians are obedient by trusting God.
