The following content is from the book “Computer Organization and Design, Fourth Edition: The
Hardware/Software Interface” 4th edition by David Patterson and John Hennessy.
Read Page 196 – 211 of the book and write a report around 2 pages long. In your report, you should
discuss the following content:
Representation of floating point numbers in computer (do not use more than half of a page)
Implementation of floating point addition
Implementation of floating point multiplication
You should also prepare for a presentation of 10~15 minutes long. You are responsible to make your
