Strategy project presentation guidelines
The course summary states that we will have in-class presentations of your strategy project assignment in weeks 10 and/or 11. Obviously, we will run these on both a face to face and via Zoom sessions. I believe that we may be able to get through all the presentations in week 10.
- I will provide you with your group’s specific presentation time in Week 9
- Your group’s presentation should not exceed 10mins. I would like you to think that you are pitching your strategy analysis and recommendation to a real client (Lotus F1). Please be as professional as possible in your presentation. You may get (good or bad) questions from the audience (i.e., me). You need to be able to handle them all professionally.
- The content of your presentation will largely overlap with what you have written down in your report. However, I would suggest you do not try and cover every nook and corner of your report. In the presentation, you need to demonstrate your ability to convey your strategy recommendation in a convincing and compelling manner to the client’s top management team. And for this, going through intricate details of your analysis may not always be the best approach. You might want to stick in your talk largely to the big picture but with occasional references to the analyses you have done.
- There will be a section on Wattle (in the assessment submission area) to submit your presentation slides. Please make sure you submit your slides there before your presentation time slot.
