This assignment asks you to write a short position paper. A position paper is an essay that explains where you stand on your topic. By Day 7, write an essay of at least 500 words in which you take an argumentative position on your topic. The essay may be longer than the minimum requirement but should not exceed 1,000 words.

The sources you located for the Week 2 Project may be used in this paper, but they are not required. If you decide to include quotations, paraphrases, or summaries from these sources, you will need to include in-text citations and end references.
Your position paper should include the following:
- Grab the reader’s attention with an interesting opening sentence or question.
- Include your thesis statement at the end of the introduction.
- In the body, support your thesis with reasons, facts, and examples.
- Finish the essay with strong conclusion in which you restate the thesis and summarize your points.
- End with a satisfying final sentence.
