During the video – the speaker discusses “Welfare – the never-ending debate”. In essay format, discuss/answer the questions he asks (list each question and respond to each question with a minimum of one paragraph per question):
1.How should government promote “the general welfare”?
2.What welfare programs should exist? Why should they exist?
3.Who should benefit? Why should they benefit from them?
4.What role should the federal government play relative to the states?
5.Is it a government role at all? If you feel that it is not, explain why.
Each question is opinion based, there is no right or wrong answer.
