Topic 1: Communication Techniques
Before beginning Topic 1, review the attached “20 Ways to Improve Your Team’s Communication.”
1. Post your reflection upon a time where you were in a meeting and communication was not going well and conflict was evident.
2. Choose one of the 20 Ways to Improve Your Team’s Communication and present how you would implement that strategy into the meeting.
3. Describe the meeting you were in, who the participants were and what was happening or causing the communication breakdown.
4. Then, present your chosen strategy and what it would look like in action. Be specific and “paint a picture” of how you would expect to change the communication, moving from negative to positive.
