Enhancing Employee Well-being through Flexible Work Arrangements
Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment:
Refer to the problem space and problem statement you presented in the Topic 2 assignment in this course and any related instructor feedback you received. Pay close attention to whether you took a quantitative or qualitative approach to your topic. You will need to continue that approach here unless your instructor has indicated a need for you to change.
Refer to the most recent iteration of the research questions you submitted in RES-831 and/or RSD-851 and any related instructor feedback you received.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
Doctoral learners are required to use APA style for their writing assignments. Refer to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association for specific guidelines related to doctoral-level writing. The manual contains essential information on manuscript structure and content, clear and concise writing, and academic grammar and usage.
This assignment requires the inclusion of at least two scholarly research sources related to this topic and at least one in-text citation from each source.
You are required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite. A link to the LopesWrite technical support articles is located in Class Resources if you need assistance.
Directions
Write a paper (1,250-1,500 words) in which you revise your research questions and provide a theoretical foundation or conceptual framework that will ground your study. Use either the qualitative or quantitative directions below depending on your topic. Hint: Review relevant literature and theories that provide a foundation for understanding the problem.
Quantitative Topics
Restate the problem statement and the variables for your proposed topic.
State the research questions and corresponding sets of hypotheses. Defend how these research questions address the problem statement and each variable. How might the answers to these research questions inform the problem space?
Outline the key concepts or constructs included in the theoretical foundation or conceptual framework.
Explain how the theory(ies) or conceptual framework guide the research topic identified from the problem space.
Defend why this theoretical foundation or conceptual framework was selected over other alternatives.
Clarify the relationships or connections between these components and how they contribute to understanding the research phenomenon.
Explain how the theory(ies) or conceptual framework define the variables. If using multiple theories, explain the theoretical relationship already established, if any, between the research variables.
Qualitative Topics
Restate the problem statement and the phenomenon for your proposed topic.
State the research questions and defend how these questions address the problem statement and phenomenon identified in the problem statement.
