Students should analyze the required reading, lecture material (lecture and/or film) and multiple primary sources in a cohesive manner. Make sure you cite the sources you analyze with parenthetical citations and a brief bibliography at the end of the assignment (MLA is preferred). This assignment should consist of more analysis than summary because of the limited page requirement. Students should discuss how the course materials relate to each other. For example, students could answer the following questions: what do the materials collectively convey about the particular time period (s? How do the course materials support or complicate your understanding of the early global interactions, trade, power, etc.? How does the concept of identity (religion, nation/empire/kingdom/dynasty/ empire, race, class, gender, etc.) shape the time periods covered? What is your reaction to the materials? What did you learn about World history from the materials?

The paper should be 2-3 pages. The font should be Arial 11.
