The paper should include a cover page and a reference page, using all elements of APA style and grammar, as well as level headings if needed. A minimum of one recent (last 5 years) scholarly reference are to be cited. References that are used for this paper should be paraphrased rather than using direct quotes from the source. Make sure that your writing is clear and precise, ending with a well-thought-out conclusion. The paper should be submitted in the Philosophy Paper assignment drop box in Canvas.
Address the following questions when writing your philosophy of nursing:
- What does nursing mean to you?
- What is your view of nursing now that you are at the end of your nursing program? How has your view changed since the beginning of your nursing program?
- How will your view of nursing guide the care you give to your patients?
- What are your definitions of health and illness?
- Which nursing theorist or nursing theory helped you define your philosophy of nursing?
- How would you articulate your nursing philosophy to someone else? Consider how your philosophy makes you stand out from your colleagues.
