1-Tina-Hello.  I work at Amenz Prison, where I am a substance use disorder counselor. I’m also a licensed social service worker, which is a bachelor’s level license here in Utah. I started in child welfare when I first came to social work, and I did that for about six years before I started working at the prison with substance use disorder. So thoughts I have about Skills Lab. Primarily, I’m happy I got registered. I had a little bit of trouble getting registered for Skills Lab, so I worked with my advisor there at Walden and got registered, and I’m happy about that and ready to move forward with this course. I expect that I will gain new skills that will help me in my second internship. I feel confident with my abilities and my scope of practice right now, and I look forward to getting more tools that I can choose from as I move forward in my social work profession. I expect that skills lab will help me do that. I do have a couple of concerns. As I mentioned, I work full time.
