The foundation of this course is an exploration of the human services system in the United States. To synthesize what you’ve learned with your understanding of the system, you are to develop an 8-10 page paper that will serve as a critical analysis of the human services system.
ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
By 12/3 at 11:59PM EST, submit a paper, a minimum of 8 pages and no more than 10 pages, that answers/analyzes the following about the human services system overall:
- Describe the human service system.
- Who is the system designed to help? Who does it exclude?
- Discuss issues of diversity and discrimination in human services
- How did the system come into existence? (Why does it exist?)
- Historical evolution of the system. (How has it changed over the years?)
- Your interpretation of the strengths and challenges of the system. Please provide specific justifications for your determinations (this should be at least 2 pages at the end of your paper
This paper must be completed using APA format and contain no less than 10 citations of which 6 must be peer reviewed. The reference page(s) does not count toward the required page length. Please develop this paper in Microsoft Word and upload to this assignment as a .doc or .docx file.
