Lt Gov-Unlike the Vice President of the United States who has very little power, the Lieutenant Governor of Texas plays a rather large role in the legislative process. Explain the role played by the Lt Gov. and compare that role to the role played by the VP in the national government.  Why do you think that Texas structured the Executive branch in this way?  What advantages and disadvantages are created by this structure?  Compare the current Lt Gov actions to that of at least 1 past Lt Gov (1990-present).
