SUBJECT: ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY
INSTRUCTIONS: In class (and in the text) we reviewed several models of abnormality. Each focuses on certain processes or aspects of functioning (i.e., cognitions, emotions, behavior, development, etc.). Spend some time reviewing these theories and considering your own ideas, and describe YOUR theory for abnormal behavior. Which elements of these theories would you include as factors relevant to an explanation of mental illness? Be thorough and well-reasoned, and cite sources where necessary.
