A shared vision is a driving force for what the organization wants to accomplish. When an organization has a shared vision, its workforce is inspired to reach its goals. In this assignment, you will explore your organization’s shared vision and what effects it has on the employees.
Instructions:
• First, discuss what a shared vision is and why you think it is important in an organization.
• Next, think about your own organization and answer the following questions. Be specific with your answers.
o What is your organization’s vision? o Do you think the actions of your organization are in alignment with its vision? Please include examples. o Is your organization’s vision shared with that of its employees? Please include examples.
o If you do not believe your organization’s vision is shared amongst its employees, what do you think needs to happen to develop a “shared vision”?
o If you do believe your organization’s vision is shared amongst its employees, why do you believe this is so? Please include examples.
