Of this week’s three readings, answer all three of the following questions:
1) Which reading did you find most philosophically convincing, and why? (This means which reading did you find the most logically persuasive and find yourself agreeing with the most, from a conceptual standpoint.) Be specific about what parts of the argument you agree with and what you found convincing.
2) Which reading did you find most problematic, and why? (This means which reading did you think was the least persuasive or agreed with the least.) Be specific about what parts of the reading you disagreed with, and why.
3) How did these week’s readings help you reflect on an aspect of your experience? Did you consider something from an angle you hadn’t considered before?
Your reflection should be 1000 words and must properly cite the text using page #s for both paraphrasing and direct quotes. Your reflection must accurately characterize the readings and directly address points made in the texts. While the assignment is reflective, it is not a “freebie.” Your written reflection must show that you read, reflected, and thought philosophically about this week’s readings.
