1. Primary Sources: Provide the Chicago-Turabian citations for two (2) chosen primary source texts from your Harrison and Wood, Art in Theory textbook. These should be texts that you have not previously, and will not in the future, report on for any discussion unit here.
2. Secondary Sources: Provide the Chicago-Turabian citations for at least three (3) scholarly secondary sources you will consult for this paper.
3. Images: Post two (2) images of works you plan to discuss in your paper, along with their citations, URLS, and material analysis data. The two images can be of the same work (full size and detail, say), or two works from the same time period that you plan to compare. Note that only two images are required for this paper, not three.
4. Thesis: Provide a 1-3 sentence thesis statement that attempts to understand how at least one of your chosen primary source texts (the “anchor text”) and the chosen work(s) relate to one another.
Paper Requirements:
–Does this paper discuss, in depth, both chosen primary source texts and both chosen images? Are the images compared and contrasted in terms of formal analysis, iconographic and historical content?
–Are key art historical terms and ideas used correctly?
–Is this between 1250 and 2000 words, not including footnotes, bibliography and image captions?
