if you are traveling away from home and have to sign on for your company. You use the hotels wifi. It does not matter what device type you are using to sign on. The only possible vulnerability is to YOUR device (if you dont have virus protection), not your company. The company is protected by its own firewalls, partitions, and security authentication policies allowing or not allowing your device to sign on. it is not the BYOD device that causes the cyber vulnerability to a company, it is the access control of multiple related, yet independent, software systems. It is the firewall and security protections of the main system that protects the company.
