Specifications:
The written report must be a MINIMUM of 5 full pages in length (not 2 or 2 in length, I would suggest targeting 5 pages in length to be on the safe side).
Double spaced, using 1 margins, 12pt., Times New Roman type font.
The title page & reference page are not counted in the total page minimum.
You are expected to use a minimum of 5 sources (you may use your textbook as one of the sources). Be wary of Internet sources. Online student research projects and non-credible sources will not be accepted as one of your 5 sources. Use your best judgment.
Include a title page for your project: the title of your report and your name should be clearly presented on this page. Your written report should be written in your own words. Avoid plagiarism by giving appropriate citations (reference citations) for directly quoted information (quotation marks or single space format) and paraphrased information.
If you chose to include images in your written report, be certain that you maintain at least (minimum) 5 full pages of written text.
Once you are done with your paper, you will upload it as a word doc to the assignment submissions part of this Module.

Title page (Page 1 of assignment): Here you will include:
A title for your research paper
Your name (LAST NAME, First name)
Research text ( starts at page 2 of assignment): The beginning of your research paper
Your first paragraphs will include the following. Declare what your Drug and Research Drug topic is, be as specific as possible, use the scientific name not street name. Define what it is. Make sure to cite the source in which you found the definition (APA format). If you do not find a credible source to define your topic use your textbook!
Second set of paragraphs: Describe the pharmacological effects of the drug you researched. Also make sure to include it’s mechanism of action.
Third set of paragraphs: Describe what type of side effects someone may experience if they ingest this drug.
Fourth set of paragraphs: What types of treatments are offered to assist with this drug dependency, which ones are the most effective, etc.
Fifth and last paragraphs of paper: Tell me why you chose this drug; you have the ability to research anything within the world of drugs that you find interesting. Tell my why you found this drug interesting and if you still found it interesting after you researched it.
