Students will prepare a 3 to 4 page paper on the accounting topic of their choice (ethics, taxes, bookkeeping, financial statements, etc) as it relates to the course content. The paper will be graded based on the accurate use of English, the organization, and the accurate and complete reflection of the research conducted to complete assignments. The due date of the research paper will be announced at the first class meeting. Late papers will be accepted with a loss of 5% each class meeting it is not submitted.
Students are required to submit a reference page of all resources used to complete the paper. Students should be very mindful to avoid plagiarism violations and cite references as appropriate.
