Overview:
The overall goal of this assignment is to get you thinking about the details of making a product design
and development plan, and integrating the knowledge from the lectures, readings and class discussions
into this plan.
The report provides an opportunity for in-depth study or application of the concepts discussed in the
class.
Assignment Expectation:
Write a report on the product design and development process of a company you admire and want to
work for in the future. Using your learning from this class, understand its methods in developing new
products. Evaluate the constraints that influence the Product Design process, and propose adjustment
the company can employ to improve the function of new product/service development for the company
