Plz answer those questions according to the essay that I upload below
Just short answer, like 1-2 sentences per question
1.How did you succeed in this draft?
2.What do you think needs improvement in this draft? (SPECIFY 2-3 items from the Hierarchy of Writing Concerns: Focus, Development, Rhetorical Arrangement, Paragraph Structure and Transitions, Sentence Style and Correctness)
3.Did you have specific questions about what the assignment guidelines ask you to do or how to do it?
4.FOCUS: Do you think your focus/argument/thesis statement is strong and supported throughout your entire essay? State if you want revision strategies from your Writing Specialist.
FOCUS, THESIS STATEMENT, and ARGUMENT are often used interchangeably. A THESIS STATEMENT is the one sentence that articulates the main argument, and FOCUS means the thesis statement and the way every word in the essay serves to support that thesis statement.
5.DEVELOPMENT: Did you consider the implications and consequences of your ideas? Where will your ideas lead? Did you develop by asking yourself the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and HOW? Did you develop your ideas with reasons, evidence, and examples? State if you want revision strategies from your Writing Specialist.
6.RHETORICAL STRUCTURE: Do you think your essay is arranged in the best way to support and reveal your focus/argument? State if you want revision strategies from your Writing Specialist.
Rhetorical Structure means the overall arrangement of ideas and information in your essay to create a clear pattern to support your thesis.
7.PARAGRAPH DEVELOPMENT: Does each of your paragraphs contain 1 main point (the topic sentence) that is well developed AND connects to your thesis? State if you want revision strategies from your Writing Specialist.
The job of a paragraph is to convey only one idea that supports the thesis. Does each of your paragraphs have a topic sentence that supports your thesis statement? Did you develop that topic sentence with names, numbers, statistics, examples, and or reasons?
8.PARAGRAPH ORGANIZATION: Does each paragraph show a relationship between that paragraph’s main idea and the main point of the preceding paragraph? State if you want revision strategies from your Writing Specialist.
A topic sentence states the main idea of this paragraph and shows how it supports the thesis; also you can demonstrate the progression of your thoughts with transition words and phrases. SEE HERE FOR MORE: https://writing.wisc.edu/Handbook/Transitions.html
9.SENTENCE CORRECTNESS AND STYLE: Are your sentences grammatically correct and free of error patterns? State if you want revision strategies from your Writing Specialist.
Sentences might have local or global error patterns. Global errors confuse the readers. Local errors do not–the reader can figure out what you intended to write.
