Part I: Slide-Based Questions (5): respond in ONE to THREE sentences in your own words: do not utilize exact language from lecture. (5 points each=25 points total)
Part II: Short Answer Questions (3): Write at least a one-paragraph response per question in your own words: do not utilize exact language from lecture. Make sure to use vocabulary from the course in order to help bolster your answers. (25 points each=75 points total)
The exam will be made available to you onThursday, April 29th at 9:30 am PST and close on Saturday, May 1st at 9:30 am PST (48 hours total). On Saturday morning all open exams will automatically submit and you will not be able to enter or edit answers. You can save your progress as you go; you do not need to complete the exam in one sitting. The exam starts at the SAME TIME for everyone, it does not mean that you have 48 hours from the moment you [personally] start the exam. No late exams/revised exams will be accepted past the deadline. Keep in mind this is a midterm exam and it should not take you more than 90 minutes to complete.
The exam is open book but you cannot use outside sources. Using anything beyond course materials or collaborating with peers will result in a failing grade.
You do not need to include citations (i.e., from which lectures/readings you find relevant information). All questions should be answered in your own words. Do not copy/paste information from readings or type out parts of Professor Sorkin’s lectures as your answer.
