Assignment Four: Research Paper
For assignment four, you will be required to use six different sources in your paper and write a required
length of five – eight pages. This is essentially your research paper and will be a major portion of your
final grade which will focus on the social issue you have now experienced firsthand. As per our
discussion in class, you will create a proposal to counter the issue you discussed in paper 3. This paper
will be based off previous assignments; therefore, choose an appropriate topic to research.
Because you are required to include six different sources, we will need to meet with a librarian this
semester in order to help you further your knowledge about the facility or organization you choose. You
will find in the supplements folder a packet outlining the requirements in detail about the sources
needed as well as the information required.
When writing your paper, please remember to be creative and especially, no Plagiarism!
Be careful not to bash or stereotype other races, ethnicities, or religions. If you have any questions or
concerns, please bring them to me in class, in my office, or post them on D2L. Your thesis should be as
precise as possible so that you have a sound argument.
Remember to begin your paper with a strong introduction, a detailed body using transitions as well
as description, and conclude with an equally strong conclusion.
