Bibliography
Research and select one topic in Science that is of current interest, using the books and electronic databases that cover science topics. Use the available resources to find and investigate a topic that you can use to write a research report as described in Exercise 2. The topic can be in any area of Science that interests you. Begin with a broad topic that you will gradually narrow and focus, as you prepare for Exercise 2. You are to submit:
- a) a cover sheet with your full name, course name and number and assignment title
- b) a works cited list of 18 information sources, in APA bibliographic format, that you explored while selecting a topic. Make sure you list them under the appropriate categories, ex: Category Scientific Journals: then list the four journals. These should be as follows
- Six (6) references to scientific journals; scientific journals are publications of professional scientific societies and organizations.
- Four (4) references to reference books, including encyclopedias
- Four (4) references to newspapers and news magazines
- Four (4) references to popular science publications such as Scientific American, Discover, Science News, etc.
Rubric
- Proper indent/margins for all sources (18 points)
- Journals/sources are italicized properly (10 points)
- Author names and Dates are in correct order (12 points)
- Citation links are given where necessary(10 points)
