Instructions: For this Literature Review assignment you are to write a 7-to 9-page literature review on the topic that you have identified as your research topic for your Senior Defense (research presentation). This assignment is to be written following APA guidelines and include a minimum of 12 references. The following outline is provided as a guide for how you are strongly recommended to organize your literature review. Please refer to class notes/presentations, and other in class exercises to assist you as you write the paper (ex: APA 101 presentation, Individual Lit Review Introduction Exercises).
I.) Introduction of Topic (1 to 1.5 pages)

c. One BIG THING that will draw readers into your topic (make it interesting)
d. Summary of topics that will be covered throughout the remainder of your paper.
II.) Topic One (2 to 2.5 pages)

b. Show what other researchers have found.
i. Provide statistical information or other major breakthroughs that others have found through previous research.

c. What is the current state of your subtopic today?
d. What are areas that researchers have identified for further research?
III.) Topic Two (2 to 2.5 pages)
a. Why is it important?

a. Summarize what has been provided in the literature review. It should look similar to the close of your Introduction of Topic section.
b. Be sure to highlight major findings (1 to 2) that you discovered during the literature review.
VI.) References (not included in the total page count, but if done correctly should be approximately 1 to 2 pages)
a. Conclude your paper with an APA style reference section where each of your citations are listed in alphabetical order.
